TRANS - HIMALAYA EXPEDITION 2011

This remarkable journey takes place through the extreme North – West Himalayas, bordering India, Pakistan and Tibet (China). Modern life and advanced technology has yet to take hold in the uppermost regions of the Himalayas. Come and experience ancient cultures, customs and history dating back thousands of years. Travelling through four States of Northern India, a 23 day, 2500 kilometre plus motorcycling adventure is one of the hardest journeys amongst the toughest mountains in the world.

Become part of a handful of elite adventurers, travelling across some of the highest roads on earth. We will take you to remote mountain villages, where simple lives are lived to this day. Riding off-road, through desert sands, corrugated tracks and some tarmac, you are in for an adventure of a lifetime. Tread in the footsteps of giants. ‘Alexandra the Great’ led his armies in these parts of the Himalayas; a legacy survives to this day.
